Nearly There

I’m working away from home this week. From day to day I do most of my work for knitonthenet and Arbour House remotely, at the other end of the country from Susan and Gavin Crawford. Just before Easter, I travelled up by train to stay and work together, as I do most months, but this time I have been in sunny Southport for much longer, for just over a week as we work on knitonthenet.

The site is due to relaunch later on tonight, with a whole new concept and look. For me, it’s been a week of making lists, checking patterns, writing reviews and researching things like the size of banners for newsletters and writing up privacy policies. Gavin has been hard at work, coding everything and making sure it all works.

The new site looks fabulous and there are some great new patterns including one from me. I can’t wait for you all to see it in full, but here’s a sneak preview.

      1. I really like the new site! I will admit that I’m a little disappointed that the free patterns from the old issues have not remained free; however, I do understand when you say that the designers need to be paid for their work. I will certainly be a regular visitor!!
