While the chaps are growing their moustaches to raise awareness and help the funding of prostate and testicular cancer research, this Movember I will be mostly wearing this moustache cowl.
Although there isn’t an official Movember knitting pattern, I decided to made a donation to The Prostate Cancer Charity, which is particularly close to my heart, and then went hunting for a pattern to best reflect the moustache growing ethos. The cowl that you see above is a remix of the Incognito pattern by Mercedes Tarasovich-Clark, with an intarsia Poirot-esque moustache rather than a swiss darned one, because I am all about investigating, right?
I made it with the leftover green yarn from my Peapod Sloucher sample hat and will proudly wear them together this month in the autumnal chill.
